Spring mist at the ATELIER

On the evening of Sunday, April 13th, 2025, step into a world where art, nature, and gastronomy intertwine. Hosted within the ethereal setting of Erica Tanov’s ATELIER in Berkeley, this intimate 10-course tasting menu with curated wine pairings will transport guests through the delicate beauty of spring and the quiet mystery of the sea. Inspired by Hannah Franco’s evocative artwork, currently on exhibit, the evening unfolds like a dream—each dish a brushstroke, every sip a note in an unfolding symphony. Guests will be welcomed with crisp champagne, the air humming with soft, entrancing melodies from the parlor. The table, draped in florals reminiscent of mist-drenched shores, pearlescent scallop shells, and braided sea grass, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. With expertly curated wine pairings and a finale of exquisite desserts, this dinner invites you to surrender to the senses—where flavor, art, and ambiance merge into something truly transcendent.

The space that holds us - Erica Tavon’s Atelier

Stepping into Erica’s Atelier is like stepping into a world where time folds in on itself—a seamless blend of past and present, heritage and innovation. Housed within a stately Victorian home, the space whispers stories of a bygone era with its soaring ceilings, intricate moldings, and the quiet elegance of aged wood underfoot. Yet, within these historic walls, Erica has woven something entirely modern—a living gallery where art from across the globe finds its voice. With an impeccable eye for detail and an innate gift for storytelling, she has curated a collection that transcends borders and disciplines—sculptures that command attention, paintings that evoke emotion, and design pieces that feel as though they were destined to exist in this very space. Every corner is an invitation to pause, to admire, to feel. It is not simply a venue but an experience—one that transports, inspires, and lingers long after you’ve left.
